Latest Update — Last verified: 27 October 2026
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons (PBCC) has finalised the academic calendar for the HSSC 2nd Annual Examinations 2026, with exams commencing on 3 November 2026 across all nine Punjab boards — Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur and D.G. Khan. The supplementary exams give students who failed or missed subjects in the first annual exams a second chance in the same year, without waiting a full academic year.
Important timing note: the registration fee windows reported for these exams — single fee 24 September to 6 October, double fee 7 to 13 October, triple fee 14 to 17 October 2026 — have already closed. If you registered in one of those windows, your job now is preparation and your roll number slip, not a new application. If you did not register, contact your board or institution immediately to ask whether any late route exists — do not trust any website selling “late supplementary admission” for a fee.
Step-by-Step: Before Exam Day
- Confirm your registration with your institution or on your board’s website. Your board, not a social media list, is the authority on whether you are enrolled.
- Download or collect your roll number slip from your board’s portal or your institution as soon as it is issued. Check your name, subjects, centre and timings on it the same day — errors are far easier to fix before 3 November.
- Prepare subject by subject from the syllabus of the subjects you are re-appearing in. Supplementary exams test the full subject, not only the questions you missed.
- On exam day, carry your original CNIC or B-Form, your roll number slip, and your stationery. Reach the centre early — late entry rules are strict.
- After the exams, keep your roll number slip safe. You need it to check the result, expected around 12 January 2027 as reported.
Do Not Confuse These Two Windows
Rechecking of the 11th class result (for students who think a paper was marked wrong) is a different process with its own deadline of about 6 November 2026 — see our rechecking guide. Supplementary exams are for students who need to re-appear in a subject. Applying for the wrong one wastes both your fee and your window.

Frequently Asked Questions
When do the Punjab supplementary exams start?
3 November 2026, for HSSC Part-I and Part-II, across all nine Punjab boards.
Can I still register now?
The reported fee windows (single, double and triple fee) closed between 6 and 17 October 2026. If you missed them, ask your board or institution directly whether any late route exists — do not pay any third party for admission.
Which boards are included?
All nine Punjab boards: Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur and D.G. Khan.
When will the supplementary result come?
12 January 2027 is the expected date as reported. Your board’s own announcement on the day is final.
Is the supplementary exam the same as rechecking?
No. Rechecking re-totals a paper you already sat; supplementary exams mean you sit the subject again. They have different forms, fees and deadlines.
Final Words
One week to go. Slip checked, centre confirmed, subjects revised — that is the whole preparation. Good luck to every student sitting on 3 November.
