Latest Update — Last verified: 6 November 2026
Today is the last day to apply for rechecking of the 11th class result. Punjab boards accept rechecking requests for 15 days after the result is published, and the result came out on 22 October 2026 — so the window closes today, 6 November. BISE Faisalabad’s Controller of Examinations confirmed at the result ceremony that candidates not satisfied with their marks can submit rechecking applications to the board’s Secrecy Branch by 6 November, and BISE Multan’s press release of 22 October 2026 says the same 15-day rule.
Rechecking does not mean your whole paper is marked again. The board re-totals the marks and checks that no question was left unmarked. If an error is found, your marks are corrected. This is different from the supplementary exams, which mean sitting the subject again — those exams started on 3 November 2026 across all nine boards.
Fee amounts differ from board to board, and secondary sources disagree on the figures, so do not rely on any fee quoted on a news site. Apply on your own board’s rechecking portal and pay only the fee printed on that board’s own form. If your board prints a different date or a different procedure, follow your board — it is the final authority.
Step-by-Step: Apply for Rechecking Today
- Open your own board’s website and go to its online rechecking section (for Lahore, rechecking.biselahore.com).
- Enter your roll number and select the subject or subjects you want rechecked.
- Pay the fee exactly as shown on your board’s own form and keep the paid challan.
- Submit the application online today, 6 November 2026 — late requests are not taken.
- Where your board asks for it, make sure the original paid challan reaches the Assistant Controller (Secrecy) by hand or by post within the same period.
What Rechecking Can and Cannot Do
Rechecking re-totals marks and checks for unmarked answers — it is not a fresh marking of the paper. If you failed a subject, rechecking will not change that; the route for failed subjects is the supplementary (2nd annual) examination, which is already under way since 3 November. Students who passed but want to improve should check their board’s readmission and result-cancellation rules before applying.
