Latest Update — Last verified: 5 November 2026
Registration for the CM Punjab Youth Games 2026–27 closes today, 5 November 2026. The registration window ran from 15 September to 5 November, and the Punjab Sports Minister has publicly ruled out any extension, so today is the final chance to enter.
The games carry Rs 500 million in cash prizes across 21 sports, including athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, football, hockey, table tennis, volleyball and wrestling. Competitions run from union council level up to provincial level, with inter-divisional finals scheduled in Lahore in January 2027. About 3.2 million athletes were reported registered as of 27 October 2026 — that figure is a reported count, not a live counter, and it may have risen since.
Out-of-school children and young athletes are also eligible to register, and special registration counters were set up to help them. The published programme timeline puts trials and training at educational institutions from 11 November to 5 December 2026 — confirm your own trial date and venue with your institution or district sports office, as these are fixed at district level.
