Latest Update — Last verified: 26 October 2026
Registration for the CM Punjab Youth Games 2026–27 opened on 15 September and closes on 5 November 2026 — the Sports Board’s own timeline gives the registration phase as 15 September to 5 November, and the provincial sports minister has ruled out any extension. With today being 26 October, 10 days remain. By 22 October, reported registrations had reached about 2.4 million against a 10 million target, which is why the Sports Board has ordered registration camps and outreach to schools, madaris and mosques in the final two weeks.
The Games are a 100-day, province-wide festival in 22 sports — including cricket, football, hockey, badminton, basketball, athletics, volleyball, wrestling and table tennis — with Rs. 500 million in cash prizes. Competition runs in six levels: institution trials (11 November – 5 December), inter-school/UC level (10–14 December), inter-UC/tehsil level (18–22 December), inter-tehsil/district level (4–7 January 2027), inter-district/division level (11–14 January 2027), and inter-division/provincial finals (18–24 January 2027).
Who can register: students of public and private middle schools, high schools, colleges and universities; students of Deani Madaris, TEVTA and vocational institutes, labour schools and special education centres; and — after the deadline extension announcement — out-of-school youth through the open category. Female athletes have dedicated categories, and students from other provinces studying at Punjab universities are also eligible.
Step-by-Step: How to Register

- Submit before 5 November 2026 and save your registration confirmation.
