The State Bank of Pakistan told the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Poverty Alleviation that complete digitalisation and mandatory online functionality of BISP beneficiary accounts is scheduled for 31 December 2026 — that date is the wallet registration deadline every beneficiary should work to.
The fee rule is simple and was confirmed by the State Bank’s deputy governor in that same briefing: withdrawing cash from the wallet costs a fixed Rs. 280, while online transfers and RAAST transfers remain free. The State Bank will notify the schedule of charges every six months.
