Latest Update — Last verified: 7 November 2026
The registration deadline for the CM Punjab Youth Games 2026 has been extended to 25 November 2026. The extension was announced on 5 November 2026 by Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi at a meeting at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore. If you read yesterday that registration had closed on 5 November, that has now changed — the deadline is 25 November.
More than 4 million players have already registered, making this the largest youth games in Punjab’s history. Participating institutions will form their teams by 25 November. After the deadline, a Guinness World Records team will examine and verify all registrations — the games are being run with an official world-record attempt in view.
Registration opened on 15 September 2026. The games cover 21 sports with Rs 500 million in prizes. The next phase — institutional trials and team formation — will follow after the registration deadline. Trial dates have not been freshly confirmed on the official portal, so do not rely on dates circulating on unofficial guide sites; check youthgames.punjab.gov.pk for the confirmed schedule.
Register only through the official portal. No agent, academy or individual can register you for a fee — registration is free, and anyone asking for money in the name of the Youth Games is a fraud.
Step-by-Step: Register Before 25 November
- Open the official portal youthgames.punjab.gov.pk on your mobile or computer.
- Select your sport from the 21 games listed on the portal.
- Enter your correct name, CNIC or B-Form number, date of birth and district.
- Enter your institution (school, college or university) details correctly — institutions form their teams from these registrations.
- Enter a working mobile number — all trial and team messages will come to this number.
- Submit the form and save the confirmation or registration number shown on screen.
- Keep checking the official portal for the trials schedule after 25 November.
Eligibility
The Youth Games are open to students and young players across Punjab. Your institution must be in Punjab, and you must register in a sport you can actually play — trials will test real ability, and the Guinness World Records team will verify registrations after the deadline. Players should register only in their genuine sport and with their genuine institution; false entries will be removed at verification.
