Latest Update — Last verified: 30 October 2026
At the result declaration ceremony on 22 October 2026, Controller of Examinations Prof Rana Atiq-ur-Rehman announced that candidates not satisfied with their marks in the Intermediate Part 1 result could submit applications for rechecking of papers to the board’s Secrecy Branch, following the prescribed procedure, by 6 November 2026. The announcement was reported by APP the same day. Rechecking allows a candidate to personally review their answer script in accordance with the board’s rules — it is a review of the marked script, not a fresh examination.
That leaves exactly one week from today, 30 October, to the deadline. Students who are still deciding should decide on facts, not rumours: compare your result with your own preparation, talk to your subject teacher, and apply only for the papers where you have a genuine reason to doubt the marking. The Faisalabad result was announced on 22 October 2026 at 10:00 AM, and the board’s SMS code for result checking is 800240.
One caution on fees: different secondary sources quote different rechecking fees for Faisalabad, so this post deliberately does not state a fee figure. Pay only the fee printed on the board’s own rechecking form or notice at bisefsd.edu.pk, and keep the paid challan or receipt with your application copy. Anyone quoting a fee on WhatsApp or in a shop, without showing the board notice, should not be trusted with your money.
Step-by-Step: How to Apply for Rechecking
- Open bisefsd.edu.pk and read the board’s rechecking notice and form for HSSC Part 1, 2026. Note the exact prescribed fee printed there.
- Fill the form for each paper you want rechecked, with your roll number, registration details and subject codes exactly as on your result card.
- Pay the prescribed fee through the channel named on the form and attach the proof of payment.
- Submit the application to the Secrecy Branch, BISE Faisalabad, before 6 November 2026. Keep a stamped copy or receipt as proof of submission.
- Wait for the board’s schedule for script review. Attend on the given date and time with your original CNIC or B-Form and your application receipt.
- Check the board website for the rechecking outcome. If a correction is made, the board issues the revised result; no agent can speed this up.
Who Should Apply — And Who Should Not
Apply if your marks in a paper are far below your expected performance, or if you suspect a totalling or unmarked-question error. Do not apply for every paper out of disappointment alone: rechecking reviews the existing script, it does not re-mark your knowledge, and a weak case wastes the fee and the week. Students who failed a subject should also read the 2nd Annual (supplementary) examination schedule — rechecking and supplementary preparation can run in parallel, and the supplementary exams begin on 3 November 2026 across Punjab boards.
