Latest Update — Last verified: 26 October 2026

Punjab boards accept rechecking applications for 15 days after the result is published. The 11th class result came out on 22 October 2026, so the window runs to about 6 November 2026. BISE Multan’s press release No. 693, dated 22 October 2026, states the 15-day rule plainly — and adds a second condition students often miss: the original copy of the paid bank challan must reach the office of the Assistant Controller (Secrecy) by hand or by post within the same period, otherwise no action is taken on the request.

BISE Lahore’s rechecking form shows a fee of Rs. 1,200 per subject plus Rs. 100 processing. Other boards charge different amounts, so check your own board’s notice rather than copying Lahore’s fee. The fee is refundable if a marking or totalling error is found, according to the board’s published guidance. Rechecking does not mean your paper is marked again from scratch: the board re-adds the marks and checks for any answer left unmarked. That is why most rechecking results stay unchanged — apply only for a subject where you genuinely believe marks were missed or added wrong.

If your board prints a different last date, follow your board’s date, not the 6 November count in this post. Do not wait for the last day: bank challans and portal traffic both cause delays.

Step-by-Step: How to Apply for Rechecking

  1. Open your own board’s rechecking portal (for Lahore: rechecking.biselahore.com) and log in with your roll number.
  2. Select only the subjects you want rechecked — you pay per subject.
  3. Generate the bank challan from the portal and pay it at the designated bank.
  4. Submit the online form before the deadline, and keep the paid challan copy safe.
  5. For boards like Multan that require it, deliver or post the original paid challan to the Assistant Controller (Secrecy) within the same 15-day window.
  6. Check the portal for your rechecking result — the board will notify you if any correction is made.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the last date for 11th class rechecking in Punjab?

About 6 November 2026 — 15 days after the 22 October result. Follow your own board’s printed date if it differs.

How much is the rechecking fee?

BISE Lahore charges Rs. 1,200 per subject plus Rs. 100 processing. Other boards set their own fees, so check your board’s notice.

Will rechecking increase my marks?

Only if there was a totalling error or an unmarked answer. Rechecking is not a fresh marking of the paper, so most results do not change.

Do I need to send the challan to the board?

Some boards, including Multan, require the original paid challan to reach their office within the window. Check your board’s instructions — an online form alone may not be enough.

What if I miss the rechecking window?

Late requests are not taken. Your next route is the supplementary (second annual) examination — check your board’s date sheet for that.

Final Words

Rechecking is a short, strict window: apply online, pay the challan, and deliver it where your board requires — all before about 6 November. Do not pay any agent for this; the board portal is the only route.
