Latest Update — Last verified: 30 October 2026
Registration for the CM Punjab Youth Games 2026–27 closes on 5 November 2026. That date is confirmed across the Punjab Education Foundation direction to partner schools, ProPakistani’s report of 19 October 2026, and the official portal’s own window of 15 September to 5 November. On 14 October, Punjab Sports Minister Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar announced 5 November as the final registration deadline and ruled out any extension — so anyone waiting for a last-minute extension is waiting for something the minister has already refused.
The stakes are large: Rs 500 million in cash prizes, 21 sports, and competitions running from union-council level up to provincial finals in Lahore in January 2027. By 22 October, registrations had reached 2.4 million children against a 10 million target, and the minister ordered registration camps and outreach to madrassas, mosques and public and private schools to close the gap. Out-of-school children are also eligible: District Sports Officer Sajida Latif confirmed on 21 October that young players not enrolled in any school or college can register, with a special registration counter set up at the e-Library of Al-Fateh Sports Complex in Faisalabad.
Six days is enough — if you register today. It is not enough if you leave it to 5 November, when portals slow down and school offices are crowded. Register now, save your reference number, and sort out trials later.
Step-by-Step: How to Register Before 5 November
- Open youthgames.punjab.gov.pk and check the participation requirements for your age group and sport.
- Keep ready: your CNIC or B-Form, a copy of your father’s CNIC, and a recent photograph.
- Fill the online form with your correct name, institution (if any) and sport. Out-of-school players can register through the designated counter in their district.
- Submit before 5 November 2026 and save your registration reference number — screenshot it and keep it on paper too.
- Ask your school, college or district sports office about trial dates in your area. Institutional trials are the next step after registration.
- Never pay anyone for registration. The official portal registration is the only route, and no agent can add your name after the deadline.
Who Can Take Part
Students of public and private schools, colleges and universities in Punjab, students of madrassas and special schools, students from other provinces studying at Punjab universities, and out-of-school children and young athletes. Outstanding institutions also receive special prizes. The games are designed as a 100-day province-wide festival to discover talent, so the entry point is registration — performance comes after.
